We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I am responsible for all aspects of the front office, including answering phones, scheduling patients, coordinating treatment plans, filing, and receiving insurance claims. It is very rewarding to work in a field where we help people achieve a smile they can be proud of, which then leads them to lead more rewarding and satisfying lives. I moved back to the Champaign area after living in the Atlanta, GA area for 27 years. My husband, Frank, and I have two grown children and five grandchildren who still live around Atlanta. In our free time, we attend Vermillion Heights Christian Church.
I clean patients' teeth, take their xrays, and help them to create a treatment plan to maintain healthy smiles and mouths. I began working for Drs. Patterson and Parsons in October, 2014. I began my career in the dental field in 2008 as an assistant. I loved it so much, I went back to school to get my license as a hygienist. I love the interacting with the patients and creating beautiful smiles. Working with these doctors is fun because they are fun. They always put a smile on our faces. When I am not cleaning teeth, I spend with my family. I am married and have 2 children that keep me busy.
As a dental assistant, I set up operatories for the doctors and seat the patients. I will take x-rays, impressions, lab, sterilize instruments and enter treatment plans to review with the patients. I have worked with Dr. Patterson since 2007 where we met in a different practice. I came to the Tuscola office so I could work with her again! I have been a dental assistant since November, 1999. I love helping people by creating new smiles for them. We do that with fillings, crowns and dentures (for some examples). I love working with the doctors because they are good doctors. They care about their patients. I am married to Lee and have 2 children and 2 dogs. I grew up in Oakwood and now live in Danville. I have a large family and enjoy spending time with everyone!
Office Management, Dental Hygiene
My career as registered hygienist began in 1983. I was introduced to dentistry while finishing high school in Manchester, New Hampshire. I trained as a Dental Assistant in a family dental practice in New Hampshire. I returned to Illinois to enter the dental hygiene program at Lakeland College in Mattoon, Illinois. The best part of my job is definately my Patients! They have become a part of my life as I have been in practice for over 30 years. Dr. Aaron and Dr. Nikkole allow the staff to utilize all our skills and education to provide excellant care for our patients. When not working at Patterson and Parson's Family Dentistry, I enjoy showing my quarter horses at the state and national level. I have one son, Bryson, who has a love for golf, so we spend a bit of time on the course together.
Welcome to the practice! I am the face you will meet at the front desk. I have worked in the dental profession for 29 years. I began my career as a certified dental assistant and have trasitioned to the front desk over the past four years. I am happy to answer your questions, plan for upcoming appointments, help resolve concerns and make your visit with us a postive one. My primary goal is to help you! I have two daughters and one sweet dog, Charlotte. When I am not working, I enjoy quilting, cooking and spending time with my family and dear friends.
I am a Tuscola native and received my dental hygiene license from SIU-C in 1987. I married my farmer husband, Dan, in 1988. I have been a part of this practice on and off since 1987 and stayed home part time with our children, David, Philip and Maria. I enjoy meeting new people, family time, exercising, Bible studies, working in the yard and traveling.
I began working as a hygienist in 1977. I came to work here in 1993. My favorite part of my job is the interaction with the patients and teaching good dental habits while doing their prophies. I love hearing what is going on in their lives. Living and working in a small town, a lot of our patients are our neighbors and friends. Seeing a poor dental mouth become healthy is a Great feeling! The doctors are very friendly and approachable. They understand our patients needs. They are also great with children! I am married to Doug who drag races and I help him. We also have a car we like to take to car cruises. We have two children, Lindsey and Justin. They are both married and have given us three grandchildren, Alydia, Andrew and Addy. I love helping out with my grandchildren and watching them learn and grow. It is a joy to see!
I help the office by assisting the doctors taking x-rays, help build treatment plans, take impressions and assist with fillings. I am a registered dental hygienist as well, so I also clean patient's teeth and can help with local anesthesia. I graduated from Parkland College with my associates in applied science in 2015. I joined the Patterson and Parsons team in June 2015. Working with this team has been nothing but rewarding. The doctors, as well as my other peers, are incredibly amazing because they truly care for the patients and the patients needs. I love being able to be there and help patients achieve goals with their oral health. I am a Villa Grove native, but am currently residing in Camargo. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, crafting, painting, exercising, and running with my dog, Olaf.
